Works to remove concrete and repair surfacing at the Parish Field is well underway.
Improvements in the weather conditions at long last have enabled the Parish Council’s contractors to make an excellent start to the groundworks at the Parish Field this week. The concrete from beneath the Zip-Wire has been removed and work is ongoing to prepare the new surfacing there and around some of the smaller items of equipment.
There is Heras fencing surrounding the areas the contractors are working in to prevent access to those areas. The new surfaces need time to form properly and must not be touched during this process. Unfortunately, on 20th May, within hours of it being installed, it seems that someone has accessed within the Heras fencing and damaged the new mulch pad surrounding the wobble board. Please can everyone keep away from the fenced areas to avoid any further damage being done and any further expense for what is already an expensive process?
